American Atheists, the group that files lawsuits to have religious symbols removed from government property, including the Ground Zero Cross on the site of the 9/11 World Trade Center terrorist attack, have started a billboard campaign purporting to reach out to closeted atheists “pressured” to put up with religious traditions during Christmas. This is a free country, for now, and the godless are at liberty to encourage godlessness. I’ve written several columns about atheists at World. Here’s the hope I have: among the present generation’s atheists could be God’s elect. We were once unbelievers, too, but we were saved by God’s grace. He’s still saving!
