The Founder

Star Parker is a syndicated columnist, author, social critic, and CURE’s founder. A leading voice on faith, freedom, and public policy, her nationally syndicated column reaches more than eight million readers each week. She is a frequent commentator on television and radio, appearing on outlets including FOX News, EWTN, and the BBC. Star is the author of four books, including Necessary Noise and Uncle Sam’s Plantation.

After serving as CURE’s president for 30 years, she she’s now the organization’s social policy consultant, continuing to shape its mission and message.

Editorial Director 

La Shawn Barber’s work has appeared in the Washington Examiner, Washington Post, Washington Times, National Jurist, Christianity Today, Christian Research Journal, and other publications. She wrote a weekly column for WORLD magazine online, a Christian publication. La Shawn is an independent conservative.

The editorial director runs the site’s X and Facebook accounts.
