Earlier this month, the White House released a list detailing 32 recent policy achievements. The list highlights Trump Administration efforts to reduce government waste, strengthen American manufacturing, lower costs for families, and bolster national security.
Included in the list of policy achievements:
- President Trump clawed back nearly $1 billion in wasteful spending aimed at illegal aliens and DEI programs;
- The Department of the Treasury began sending Obamacare refund checks to nearly one million Americans who were overcharged under the Biden Administration, and announced that more than 60 million children have been enrolled in Trump Savings Accounts;
- The Department of Transportation finalized new vehicle efficiency standards that will save Americans nearly $140 billion over five years;
- President Trump helped bolster American manufacturing with a $15 billion Iowa steel mill set to add $95 billion to the economy, produce up to 10 million tons of steel per year, and create thousands of permanent jobs. Additionally, the White House moved to reshore production of 86 essential medicines, including penicillin, epinephrine, and ibuprofen; and
- The Export-Import Bank secured a $500 million private commitment to build a U.S. Strategic Critical Minerals Reserve.
CURE commends the actions by the Trump Administration in continuing to reduce government waste, strengthening American industry, and securing our nation’s homeland.
