The Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE) and other pro-life organizations wrote a letter (PDF) to President Donald Trump expressing gratitude for his commitment to protecting the unborn.
They also seek accountability in his administration to uphold the sanctity of life.
Signers: Donald Eason, president of CURE, Penny Nance, CEO and president of Concerned Women for America, Kristen A. Ullman, president of Eagle Forum, Mary Thomas, CEO of Faith and Freedom Coalition, Chad Connelly, founder and CEO of Faith Wins, Rick Santorum, chairman of Patriot Voices, and Frank Pavone, the national director of Priests for Life.
During National March for Life in January, pro-lifers across the country will gather on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the end of Roe v. Wade and promote a culture of life.
The letter’s signers noted that President Trump was the first president to attend March for Life.
These organizations support the Trump administration’s efforts to enforce the Hyde Amendment, which bars federal funding for abortions, and rescind the Biden administration’s violations. The protections are desperately needed, and pro-lifers have a president who will fight for the unborn.
The signers also expressed deep concern about the Food and Drug Administration expanding access to the abortion drug mifepristone, under what they call “outdated regulations that allow unrestricted
telehealth and mail-order prescriptions for the drug.”
