CURE’s Donald Eason on Charlie Kirk’s Courage

Donald Eason, a pastor and the president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, recently spoke with Jake Novak, host of American Sunrise Early Edition, about Charlie Kirk.

Eason said that Charlie Kirk was doing awesome works, especially when he was speaking at colleges to young people.

“Charlie Kirk was having real dialogue with them,” Eason said. “Real conversation.” Charlie “put his faith first and said he wanted to be known for his courage.”

Charlie certainly was courageous, going into the lion’s den and respectfully debated students who opposed him and everything he believed in. Some of those young people who called themselves liberals have moved to the other side of the aisle after reading and hearing the vitriol and celebrations of his death.

Eason said that the devil overplays his hand, thinking that he can stop God by trying to stop his messenger.

“And I think Charlie’s voice speaks louder than ever now,” Eason said.
