The Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Weaponization Working Group in April released a report (PDF) of over 800 pages that reveals how the Biden administration used the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act to target pro-lifers.
The working group reviewed more than 700,000 records and concluded that pro-life activists were disproportionately targeted, while attacks on pregnancy resource centers were often downplayed.
The Trump administration has issued another report, this one about anti-Christian discrimination under Joe Biden.
President Donald Trump issued an executive order in February 2025 to eradicate anti-Christian bias in the federal government.
“My Administration will not tolerate anti-Christian weaponization of government or unlawful conduct targeting Christians,” President Trump wrote.
DOJ has been investigating anti-Christian bias that occurred during the Biden administration and published a report (PDF) last week detailing the federal government’s violations of religious freedom.
From the press release:
The report touches on a broad array of federal policies and programs, including conscience rights, the Johnson Amendment, fines against Christian universities, girls’ sports, vaccine mandates, and the exclusion of Christians from public programs, among many others. The Task Force also highlights related findings at the state and local level and in the private sector.
One finding that should be familiar with this blog’s readers. The Biden administration investigated concerned parents who complained at local school board meetings about “critical race theory” and “transgender” policies that undermined girls’ privacy as well as put them in danger.
Merrick Garland, Biden’s AG, directed the FBI and state and local law enforcement to investigate these parents.
Another finding: “The Biden Justice Department immediately mandated the adoption of gender ideology throughout the federal government far beyond the Supreme Court’s ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County.”
Unfortunately, the “conservative” Supreme Court handed down the Bostock ruling. Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote in the majority opinion that the Christian funeral home in the case could not discriminate against its funeral director based on “gender identity.” The man began presenting at work as a “woman,” and the owner fired him.
Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Brett Kavanaugh dissented. The Biden administration gleefully cited this case to justify imposing “transgender” policies throughout the government.
But the Trump administration has changed the rules.
According to the press release, DOJ has rescinded the Garland Memo. DOJ and the U.S. Department of Education are investigating government schools with policies that violate girls’ privacy and put them at risk.
The Trump administration is ending the weaponization of the FACE Act, among other things.
Under President Trump, Christians can freely live their faith.
“The Biden Administration generally tolerated religious beliefs that were privately held but zealously pursued actions to limit Christians’ ability to act in accordance with their faith. This affected matters of deep personal importance to nearly every American: life, family, marriage, and self-identity.”
