Star Parker and her guests discussed government restrictions on churches during the COVID-19 pandemic on a recent episode of her show, Cure America.
In the brief clip below, Dr. William Allen, CURE COO, talked about the conflict between church and state. States have the police power to provide for the health, safety, and morals of the people, and in some instances, say to the church something can’t be done for health reasons. But they can’t issue blanket prohibitions on worship, assembly, and freedom of expression. These all violate the right of conscience.
