You Won’t Believe What the Santa Fe School District Calls ‘Normal’ Behavior for a Child — Parents Should Be Outraged

Santa Fe Public Schools (SFPS) called a boy’s deviant behavior normal to align with a nonsensical “transgender” policy that allows boys pretending to be girls to use girls’ restrooms and locker rooms in violation of their privacy.

Schools in the district also keep secrets from parents about their children’s mental health and behavior.

The parents of a daughter who witnessed a boy pretending to be a girl touching his genitals complained to SFPS, but bureaucrats dismissed the complaint. The boy also publicly exposed and touched himself in front of teachers and other students. The parents withdrew their daughter from the school.

Liberty Counsel (LC), which represents the girl’s parents, sent a demand letter to SFPS, informing administrators that the boy’s behavior violates parents’ rights and Title IX. LC asked the school district to respond to the letter confirming that it will take “corrective action” by January 30, 2026.

The requested corrective actions include protecting all children and eliminating the practice of keeping secrets from parents. LC also asked SFPS to protect girls’ privacy and require boys pretending to be girls to use single-use restrooms.

LC wants children who behave as this boy does to be disciplined. Not too long ago, a child like that would have been suspended. Finally, LC wants SFPS to respect the moral, religious, and scientific beliefs of parents, students, and staff.

“The deliberate indifference by Santa Fe Public Schools toward sexual misconduct and the safety and wellbeing of female students violates Title IX and ignores morality and biological reality,” said Mat Staver, LC founder and chairman.

Allowing…requiring girls to be exposed to a boy’s genitals in class is “morally reprehensible.”
