— The National Faith Advisory Board (NFAB) has announced two webinars of interest to the Center for Urban Renewal and Education’s network of pastors and to faith-based organizations. The Trump administration is committed to working with faith-based leaders across the country.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) will present a webinar on Wednesday, June 3, at 2 PM, for faith-based organizations to learn more about how to write a strong grant application. Register for the seminar here.
The application for a SAMHSA grant of up to $650,000 a year is due on June 15.
— The White House Faith Office, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will hold a webinar on Wednesday, June 3, at 11 AM, to inform faith-based organizations about funding reforms for the Continuum of Care Program. From NFAB:
“Nonprofit and faith-based leaders will gain insight into HUD’s reforms and learn how they can better advance meaningful solutions to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The session will also highlight opportunities for collaboration among faith-based organizations, emergency shelter providers, law enforcement, apprenticeship and workforce programs, substance use disorder treatment providers, mental health providers, specialty courts, and other community partners working to support vulnerable populations.”
