Dr. Ben Carson recently appeared on the Andy Parks radio show to discuss ideas from a recent column, “Dispelling the Myth of Haves and Have-Nots in America.”
He wrote that “the real problem is not the existence of wealthy people among us. Rather, it is the feeling of helplessness and dependency that has been propagated falsely throughout many facets of our society.”
Liberals prosper, politically at least, by stoking racial resentment and class envy, and they encourage covetousness. The “positive” message they preach isn’t “You can do it,” but “He’s keeping you from doing it.”
