In Nigeria, nearly one in every five churches has been burned to the ground. Out of roughly 100,000 churches across the country, almost 20,000 have been destroyed. At the same time, more than 50,000 Christians have been killed and millions have been forced from their homes. This is the scale of the crisis facing Christians in Nigeria today.
These attacks are being carried out by Boko Haram, ISWAP, and Fulani militants, who are targeting Christian communities as part of their effort to establish an Islamic caliphate.
