Donald Eason, president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, recently appeared on United Patriots Uprising with Gary Binford to discuss election integrity and more.
Eason said that growing up in Detroit, he believed ideas like the “white man” is out to get you, your vote doesn’t count, etc.
But when you become a believer, everything changes.
Christians have a responsibility to vote, Eason said. It matters who is in office, and we’re exhorted to pray for our leaders. Eason began to exercise his civil duties, and voting was one of them. He reminds us that our ancestors fought for the right for us to vote.
Protecting the voting process matters. The Save America Act would protect the integrity of our elections.
But Democrats claim that requiring photo ID to vote would negatively impact black Americans. Black leftists seem to have no interest in calling out their fellow white leftists for implying that blacks are too lazy or dumb to go down to the DMV to obtain a photo ID like everyone else.
Eason calls it insulting. People who vote in this country should be citizens and able to prove it. This is not a racist sentiment. The majority of Americans support the Save America Act, and lawmakers must send this bill to President Donald Trump’s desk.
