How Do You Stop a Bad Guy With a Gun?

Will Witt of PragerU asked college students about guns. Needless to say, most don’t think anyone should have guns, they don’t see the point of a gun, they think 14-year-olds can walk into a gun store and buy a gun, etc.

Then Witt quotes a statistic: 94 percent of mass shootings happen in “gun-free zones.” What did they have to say about that? And what about someone with a gun stopping a bad guy with a gun? One student doesn’t think there’s a good guy in the scenario if the good guy shoots to kill instead of wound. So, he’s not a good guy for saving innocent lives if he killed the gunman.

Twisted, but Witt drops some logic on these students, leaving a couple of them speechless.

  1. Outside of law enforcement, a bigger question is who is the “good guy/gal” entrusted with a gun in public?
