Cabarrus County Schools Told Girls to Change Somewhere Else If They Want Privacy from Boys Allowed to Use Their Locker Room

We blogged last month about a school district in North Carolina where boys are allowed to enter girls’ restrooms and changing rooms — boys who reportedly watch the girls while they change clothes.

Officials in the Cabarrus County Schools do not care. When the girls expressed their discomfort, the bureaucrats told them to find somewhere else to change.Β

American First Legal (AFL), which represents three of the girls, filed a lawsuit on their behalf last month challenging this ridiculous policy. AFL announced on Monday that it seeks an immediate injunction:

AFL’s complaint and preliminary injunction argue that the Supreme Court’s recent decisions confirm that “sex” under Title IX means biological sex.

“Girls have a right not to be discriminated against in the use of female restrooms, locker rooms, and changing facilities,” said Ian Prior, Senior Counsel at America First Legal.

Adults who know better put these girls in a deplorable position: fight the violation of their privacy and the undermining of their safety, or shut up.

Three of these girls chose to fight in court. In addition to being sued, the school district is now under federal investigation. They will have to explain to federal officials why they’re fighting against the privacy and safety of these girls.

Organizations like AFL are on a mission to protect girls caught up in this nonsense. Every American should be in an uproar about what’s happening in government schools.
