Israel is a miracle, and Israel is a picture of God’s faithfulness, and Israel is your insurance policy that God is faithful to His covenants. And if you do not follow Him today, time is short. I want to tell you something, the rapture can take place any minute. And I want you to know that today – today is the day of salvation, not tomorrow. Don’t push it. Israel is a picture of God’s faithfulness. God wants to get your attention. He’s using His nation over there to tell you, “I love you in the same way I love Israel. Now you are My people. You who were once not My people are now My people. And I called you also from bondage to the freedom that we have in Christ, from darkness into His marvelous light. But you cannot find that light unless you believe and put your faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. He came to die for you.”
He’s the king of Israel. He will come to save Israel, but He came 2,000 years ago to save you. You’re the Gentiles. You are now brought forth close to God only if you accept Him. The time of the Gentiles will come to an end, and then Israel is going to be saved. You do not want to stay out and see the door slammed. Have oil in your lamps and be ready for the bridegroom when He comes at an hour you don’t know.
As we often note, antisemitism is growing rapidly around the world. There are so many false accusations of Israeli genocide against the Palestinians, when it has actually been the other way around. Some foolish celebrities and so called “online influencers” say things like, “Zionism is blasphemy,” while other foolish celebrities and influencers applaud their statements.
While most Bible-believing Christians know this battle is spiritual at its core, the thinking of many often stops short as to the “why” it is spiritual. Yes, it is because the Jews are God’s chosen people and Satan hates them for that reason. Yes, it is because the Savior of the world was and is the King of the Jews. It is also true that every effort on Satan’s part to extinguish the Jews completely has failed.
So why is the enemy continuing to stir up so much hatred for the Jews when he has such a dismal track record? For one reason and and one reason alone:
Ezekiel 36:23-24
And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD,” says the Lord GOD, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.”
The existence of Israel today is to sanctify (to set apart) God’s great name from all the false gods of the earth. Israel exists today so His name may be hallowed through their regathering from among the nations so that the nations of the world would know that He is the Lord.
We might even say that Israel’s existence today is not about them, it’s about Him. That means if you are against them, you are against Him.
Ezekiel 36:25-28
Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.
To say that modern Israel is not biblical Israel is to say that God is not faithful to His word and promises. This also reminds us that God brought them back largely in unbelief so He can cleanse them and give them a heart of flesh and fill them with His Spirit. Seven times we find the pronoun “I” in the above four verses again reminding us that what is happening today in Israel is because of Him not them.
Be very careful about siding with the masses today who deny modern Israel’s place in God’s prophetic plan. He Himself has said that He is doing all this to establish His name apart from all others. As we look around us, we can see this clearly taking place!
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.
